The
First Class of The Week
Oral communication class
is two hours between 9:00 am and 11:50 am on Mondays and lecturer of the class,
Ece Sevgi, came to classroom in time. Nevertheless, most of the students were
absent because they come to school from European side. Therefore, Ece waited
almost 15 minutes until majority of students came to classroom. while she was
waiting, she prepared the materials which she would pass out to students;
moreover, she wrote some useful structure for us on the small whiteboard.
Before she started the lesson, she announced ATEL conference in Glasgow to us
so as to keep track of the conference on the British Council web sites. There
were fifteen students in the small classroom and she divided them into five
small groups, after that she introduced the subject of discussion and she
wanted each of us to use at least a structure on the board during our
conversations. Ece put three chairs in front of the board because she wanted to
observe students' performances individually and marked them.
My dear friend Ayşe, first of all, since Ece Sevgi is an instructor it would be better if you addressed her by her surname in the 4th line. Secondly, 'some useful structure' is not grammatically correct. So, 'some useful structures' could be better. Finally, in the 10th line, 'at least one of the structures written on the board' might be more clear in meaning.
